The Ibanez ART100 Electric Guitar Review

The Ibanez ART100 electric guitar is the first single-cutaway Artist Series guitar in three decades. This is an affordable guitar with an old-school-style solid body (looks a somewhat like a Les Paul) with top-of-the-line features. The set neck, along with the contoured mahogany body provide great resonance. And when combined with the ACH1-S and ACH2-S humbuckers, it gives an excellent range in tone. The humbuckers filter out interference from electrical sources while using ceramic magnets to pump out all the crunch and sustain you’ll need to rock the house.

The Gibraltar III tailpiece allows you adjust each string individually for great intonation and the 24-2/3″ scale makes note bending a piece of cake on the bound rosewood fretboard with 22 medium frets. The 12th fret has a special ART inlay for a modest touch of flair.

  • Mahogany body
  • ART set-in mahogany neck
  • Bound rosewood fingerboard
  • ART special on 12th fret inlay

i got this five months ago and im still in love with it, the only down side is the pickup’s. if you play to loud the actual pickup’s will vibrate and give off an annoying ringing sound. so im going to buy new pickup’s here soon. but the plus side is you can play virtually any kind of music and it will sound great (at low volumes)

I lived in Russia, and I ve played it for a year! And I can tell you, this is really nice guitar! I think this guitar is more for Rock music, but still it sounds pretty nice! And the thing about it! It’s looks so freaking tight!

This guitar is absolutly amaizing, i sing and play guitar in a hard rock band, but this guitar is absolutly amaizing, it can have a great hard rock tone, to a great blues tone, to a great country tone, this guitar is so perfect. i’ve used it in jazz band too it was very good for that also. This guitar has been VERY durable for me, i’ve dropped it, knocked it over fallen with it (im clumsy) and it’s still in great shape. i’ve had it for 2 years now and HIGHLY recomend it. If you consider getting this guitar GET IT. The only thing i dont like about it is i’ve had to resoder the wiring in the back which wasn’t hard at all but after a year of being banged around the input wires came off and had to be resodered on but this guitar is 100% mint.
