Martin Performing Artist Series DCPA1 Acoustic Guitar Review

The Martin Performing Artist DCPA1 acoustic guitar is very close to the perfect acoustic guitar. Its comfort and balance are second to none. The Performing Artist Series was designed to blend Martin’s legendary guitar tone and appointments with player-friendly features for outstanding playability and tonal performance. The DCPA1 features a solid Sitka spruce top, 2-ring rosette, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, solid ovangkol binding, 25.4″ scale length, 1-3/4″ width at nut, solid black ebony bridge, and gold tuning machines enclosed with large buttons.

The Fishman Aura Blender electronics are simply amazing as well. They provide an easy-to-use, powerful, and great sounding amplification. They keep it simple with only 2 low profile knobs and a single LED display which control a digital chromatic tuner, volume and blend controls, independent 3-band EQ for both pickup and image signals, compressor, phase control and an automatic anti-feedback filter with up to 3 notches.

I love it’s look, it has a very unique feel when your first pick it up and play it, its sound as just an acoustic guitar is “music to my ears” and the electronics are phenomenal! I have not found anything I do not like about the guitar, I absolutely love its sound and and playability.
