This guitar features the slim mahogany body and a lightning fast neck that have made the SG so popular among artists of all genres, without all of the ‘fancy pants’ add-ons. This leaves you with a beast of a Gibson guitar at a more affordable price.

The solid mahogany body is lightweight, yet strong, providing a thick, warm tone. Don’t let the low price tag fool you either, the mahogany goes through the same rigorous selection process as all of Gibson’s woods and is personally inspected by Gibson’s team of skilled wood experts before it even enters the factory. The neck profile on this guitar is thick and round, mimicing the shapes found on the Les Paul Standards of the late ’50s. Once the fretboard is glued to the neck, the rest – including the final sanding – is done by hand. There are no exact duplicates of this guitar.
