The impressive gain can be attributed to the vintage-style Fender Blacktop Alnico humbucking pickups. Other features on this Strat include skirted black amp knobs and a synchronized tremolo bridge.

The solid alder body, maple neck, 9.5″-radius maple fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, gloss urethane finish, and nickel/chrome hardware make this guitar look just as good as it sounds. Whether you are looking to bring the house down at your next gig, or in your pajamas at home, this guitar will kick more than enough tail at a fraction of the price you would expect.

I love stats but have never been wild about the middle pup. Seems that the way I play, it’s always in the way so I have to crank it down near flush with the body to avoid hitting it. I have bought Les pauls but find them over priced and unconfortable for me and my style of playing. However, when I laid my eyes of this black on black beauty with dual humbuckers, 22 frets, 5 way switch and a rosewood fb I was in love. All the sound of a LP and strat combined in one beautiful instrument. Even as a MIM (which doesn’t get much resect by the way) it sounds and plays very smooth or crunchy or twangy and that is way cool. I think Fender has a winner here for a steal of a price.

This axe caught my eye quick – absolute beauty. Black amp knobs, mint green pickguard, great finish, and two humbuckers. Sounds BIG through a deluxe reverb. Had a little trouble keeping her in tune but it could’ve been new strings. I think its a great value and a killer looking guitar. Chances are most will buy this and upgrade the tuners, maybe pickups as well and will have a really strong versatile guitar. By the way it has a 5 way selector and each one sounds interesting in a new good way. Fender, Excellent Idea!

Very interesting move from fender, no more noise and only music, finally.
The good thing is that it retains the strat vibe, way more than e.g. an ibanez rg with fender single-coils (I did that, no way).
Add to this the low price and pretty finish (sonic blue with maple neck/fingerboard) and sorry my dear wallet but I really have to open your mouth.
    Ok, I’m shutting mine off!
