The dual, single-coil, pickups are similar to what you would find on a Strat, with the exception of a “keeper” that increases current through the pickup coil, reducing its sensitivity to hum. Giving you more umph in the mids and less noise. The Fender ’62 Jaguar features a trio of selector switches, as well as individual on/off switches for the pickups, resulting in a wide range of tones.
